PHOTO Update: Alpha Logistics Busy in Mombasa

Alpha Logistics Services (EPZ) Ltd, recently undertook a significant amount of dredging works at the Kenya Ports Authority’s (KPA) dockyard slipway No.1 in Mombasa, as part of ongoing rehabilitation works.

The project included:

• Excavation of sediments to determine depth along the slipway using an excavator on the backhoe dredger Hippopotes;
• Loading of the excavated sediments to the split barge Alpha Rotterdam;
• Taking of the loaded sediments for disposing of in high water.
