Anadyr liman Berth Project Begins

FSUE Rosmorport has officially started the construction works on a passenger ferry berth on the left coast of the Anadyr liman, located in the Ugolniye Kopi village, Russia.

According to Rosmorport, the project will be implemented with the involvement of a contractor.

The works, estimated to cost $10.3 million and completion scheduled for October 2021, will be financed from the federal budget.

The Anadyr liman scheme involves the construction of three berths; a cargo berth, a passenger berth and a cargo/passenger berth with a total length of 145.5 meters, and a coast protection slope with a total length of 155.7 meters.

Rosmorport said in their official announcement that the scope of dredging work is estimated at 3,667m³.

The new facility is expected to handle 6,000 units of wheeled equipment per year – 4,200 passenger cars and 1,800 trucks.
