FSUE “Rosmorport” has announced the successful completion of the 2020 maintenance dredging season.

In 2020, the company carried out dredging works at 49 facilities in 22 Russian seaports, providing safe navigation parameters for these water areas and their approach channels.

According to operational data, dredging was carried out in the amount of 7.8 million m3 in the seaports of Arkhangelsk, Big Port Saint Petersburg, Ust-Luga, Kaliningrad, Rostov-on-Don, Azov, Taganrog, Eysk, Temryuk, Kavkaz, Taman, Novorossiysk, Tuapse, Astrakhan, Olya, Makhachkala and Shakhtersk.

Both FSUE “Rosmorport” fleet (17 dredgers and 8 units of auxiliary fleet) and the fleet of contracting organizations, namely 4 dredgers, took part in these dredging operations.

Last year, the company announced that Rosmorport’s own resources covered about 70% of dredging works planned for 2019.

For the past season, the share of maintenance dredging works performed by dredging equipment of the enterprise continued to grow reaching 90% of all works performed in 2020.
