The Marine NL division of Atlas Professionals recently attended the customized introduction into Dredging & Offshore training, organized by Royal IHC in Kinderdijk.
Atlas Operational Teams from both Capelle and Urk offices attended the training.
During this education session, the teams dived further into these specific industries of the business, the history of dredging, the vessel types in these industries, the types of main soils as well as the used auxiliary equipment in these industries.
“ Aside of the theoretical part, the team the opportunity to experience themselves how it is to sail with a TSHD, dredge with a TSHD, rainbow with a TSHD and to operate a CSD on the available simulators at the training institute ,” said Atlas.
“ As a close out of these successful days, the team was given a yard tour including an outside tour on a brand-new TSHD alongside the quay in Kinderdijk .”
