Young CEDA Sessions Planned on “Working in Dredging”

End of this year, Young CEDA is organizing several sessions for students and young professionals in Belgium and the Netherlands. The sessions focus on working in the dredging sector as a young professional.

Young CEDA members from consultants, authorities and the industry will give an openhearted, inside view on their experiences during their first working years. A wide variety of topics will be addressed such as:

* Working abroad, adventure or social disaster?

* Women and dredging,

* Being a young project managers in a complex dredging project,

* Career opportunities in dredging.

After the presentations, there will be a plenary discussion and ample opportunity to continue exchanging experiences whilst enjoying a thirst quenching drink.

The first two sessions will be held in Belgium in October / November at the universities of Leuven and Gent. A third session will be held on 25 November in Delft in the Netherlands. The sessions in Belgium are organized by Denis Seurynck and Kathleen de Wit, in the Netherlands the session is organized by Robin Morelissen and Daan Rijks.
