The Committee on Transport and Communications in the Egyptian Shura Council yesterday paid a visit to Damietta Port Authority, during which they were received by Rear Admiral Suleiman Sami Mahmoud Chairman of Damietta Port Authority.
According to a statement from Dr. Mohammed Sadiq Chairman of the Committee that the aim of the visit to the port is to stand on the port development projects and what the role required by the Committee in support of this development.
It should be noted that members of the Committee held a lengthy meeting attended by the chairman of the Port Authority and the port leaders and gave a detailed explanation of port development projects, specially the increase of the depth of the access channel and strengthen of port berths.
