On April 20, CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. won the bid for the construction of the storage yard,roads and drainage facilities of Phase 1 of the construction project of Shenhua Coal Storage Center of Zhuhai Harbor with a contract value of RMB 174 million yuan ans a construction period of 240 days.
The project includes the construction of two 100,000-ton coal unloading berths,one 50,000-ton and four 3,000-ton coal loading berths. The designed annual throughput is 40 million tons with the total investment amounting to 4.5 billion yuan. The storage yard is 557m×1543m, which enables a maximum of 2.2 million tons of coal to be stored here.
This is the third subcontract that CCC Fourth Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. has undertaken in the phase 1 of the construction project of Shenhua Coal Storage Center of Zhuhai Harbor.
The project is of great significance in guaranteeing the regional energy supply to realize the goal of building a grand harbor at 10,000,000-ton level.
