Fetsy Diamante, the PPA Resource Division Manager said: “ This includes a P16.9 million renovation of an old building to become a passenger terminal and construction of ports management office at Banago Port.”

A 5,600 square meters causeway is also being renovated at P37.80 million. Also, an existing structure in Banago Port will be rebidded at P3.8 million for a feasibility study and masterplan, which will include siltation and structural stability/analysis. Proposed projects in Banago port include construction of a Roro ramp and a dredging and reclamation of the area and installation of shore power.

The projects were presented in a recent meeting of the Negros Association of Government Information Officers.
