This very important project can be done just in time for the completion of the Panama Canal – scheduled for the first half of 2015. The project includes: – creation of the new area for ships

According to jamaicaobserver.com, the Kingston Wharves’ port expansion project will cost up to US$50 million.

This very important project can be done just in time for the completion of the Panama Canal – scheduled for the first half of 2015.

The project includes:

– creation of the new area for ships at the wharf,

– 7,969 square metres of the new new berthing facility,

– dredging to accommodate larger vessels at berths 5 through 6.
