On the 2nd of May 2013, Peter Hermansson took over the position as new Managing Director for FKAB Marine Design (Fartygskonstruktioner AB).

Peter Hermansson is 49 years old and has worked at FKAB for many years, the last 10 years as head of the Structural Department. Peter has extensive experience in ship design, with particular experience in hull design.

Peter Hermansson succeeds Claes Claeson, who has been MD of the company since 1994.

Claes Claeson will continue to focus on sales and marketing, which Claes has done also previously but then in addition to his MD position.

FKAB has designed vessels since 1961 and is located in Uddevalla, Gothenburg and Shanghai. The company has over 50 years in the business a very broad knowledge of ship design.
