CCCC Fourth Harbor Consultants Co., Ltd. has recently won the bid for the Phase 2 survey and design of the Guang’ao zone of Shantou Port, with a contract value of 39.66 million yuan.
The project involves two 100,000t and a 10,000t container berths and corresponding auxiliary facilities. The terminal will be designed to accommodate 100,000t container ships, with a berth length of 1,016 meters and a designed annual through capacity of 1.25 million TEU. A 78-meter working ship berth will be built.
The project will boost the development of Shantou Port and be of great significance to coordinating and promoting the construction of the national integrated transport system and building a container transport system in east Guangdong.
