The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District, has announced a plan for the Wilmington Harbor Outer Ocean Bar dredging program.

This deepening project, located in Brunswick County, North Carolina, includes maintenance dredging of Wilmington Harbor Baldhead Shoal Channel Reach 3, Southport Channel and Battery Island Channel.

During the Wilmington dredging venture, approximately 926,000 cubic yards of material will be removed from the mentioned areas.

The estimated value of this project is between $1 mln and $5 mln, and the solicitation will be available on or about 10 October 2013.
