CCCC First Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. has recently won the bid for the east section of the east breakwater and the east section of the north breakwater in Dagang area of Tianjin Port, with a contract value of 286 million yuan.

The project involves a 2,000-meter section of the east breakwater and a 2,000-meter section of the north breakwater, with a crest elevation of 4.5 meters. As the east boundary of reclamation of Dagang area and major infrastructure for shielding the area from eastward wave, the east breakwater forms an entrance to the area with the north breakwater.

After its completion, the project will effectively stop sediments in external waters from entering the basin, reduce sediment back-siltation, ensure the operating in-depth of ships, and play a significant role in ensuring and promoting the construction of Dagang area.
