Inauguration ceremony of Dhaalu atoll Bandidhoo harbour project was held on 10th March 2014.
The Chief Guest MP Meedhoo Mr. Ahmed Siyam Mohamed, Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, Minister of State for Housing and Infrastructure Mr. Mohamed Faiz, MP Kudahuvadhoo Mr. Ahmed Amir and Dh.Bandidhoo Council members attended the ceremony which was held at Bandidhoo Island.
Under this project a harbor of size 1000ft x 300ft will be constructed in the island within 360 days as on the contract.
The project which is funded by the Government of Maldives, costs MVR 52.3 million which was awarded to the Contractor, Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).
The Contract was signed between MTCC and the Ministry early this year.
Officially the project was launched by Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and Meedhoo MP Mr. Ahmed Siyam Mohamed.
