Croatian shipbuilder Uljanik held a keel-laying ceremony last Friday, July 24th, for a partly outfitted hull of a self-propelled cutter suction dredger, which is being built for IHC Global Production B.V. of the Netherlands.

In addition to the representatives of Uljanik shipyard, the ceremony was also attended by numerous shipowner’s representatives.

The vessel, ordered last February, will have a length of 152 meters, breadth of 28 meters with the height of 8.9 meters.

With a deadweight of 2,650 tonnes and the draught of 6 meters, her upper sailing speed will be 11.5 knots. Three main engines MAN 6L48/60 each having a power 7200 kW will be mounted on the vessel.

The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for April 2016.
