Army Corps Introduces Plan for Grays Harbor Dredging (USA)

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, requires maintenance clamshell dredging of approximately 1 million cubic yards of sediment from the Grays Harbor Inner Harbor Navigation Channel.

The performance period includes three periods: Base Period – Award through 31 March 2013; plus two Option Periods – 1 April 2013 through 31 March 2014 and 1 April 2014 through 31 March 2015.

Additionally, 600,000 cubic yards of material shall be dredged from the Cow Point and Cow Point Turning Basin within the first 60 days of the Base Period.

Disposal of all dredged material shall at the Point Chehalis or South Jetty Disposal Areas.

The value of the project: $10,000,000 to $25,000,000 ($3,500,000 to $8,000,000 per period of performance).
