Rosmorport Acquires Hopper Barge Aleksandr Shatalov

FSUE “Rosmorport” has announced that the company’s Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch recently purchased self-propelled hopper barge Aleksandr Shatalov.

The vessel, built in 1988 at the Romanian Drobeta Turnu-Severin shipyard, is designed to take out soil from the dredging site to the disposal site.

Together with Severnaya dredger, Bolgatskaya motor hopper and Priliv multicat, the hopper will be included to the earth moving caravan, which will carry out dredging works in the seaports of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin.

With the help of the Aleksandr Shatalov and other vessels, the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch will carry out dredging works in the water area of the seaport of Temryuk.
