As reported, the work will be performed in Brady Island, Texas, with an estimated completion date of March 5, 2020.

The contract – awarded by the Army Corps’ Galveston District – calls for the maintenance dredging of Houston ship channel from Brady Island to the Main Turning Basin to a depth of 39.5′ MLLW.

During the works, the contractor will remove approximately 350,000 CY of dredged material, placing the spoils in Rosa Allen Placement Area.

The Corps also added that due to the dredge spacing restrictions in the Houston Ship Channel, RLB will be able to use only one dredge at the time on this project.
