The organisers, CEDA Tunisia and the Tunisian Association of Innovation and Technology, invite scientists and practitioners to submit papers on the following subjects:

• Dredging : requirements and sustainable development

• Environmental monitoring incl. predictions using modeling

• Assessment and sustainable management of dredged sediments

• Ecosystems and biodiversity

• Artificial reef: perspectives and recommendations

• Coastal development: case studies and recommendations

Papers can be submitted and presented in either of the official languages of the event, English or French. The deadline for submitting the draft proposed papers is 15 December 2011.

CEDA Tunisia presented the JIP3D seminar with success on several occasions. With inviting papers and participants from outside the African continent to next year’s event, CEDA Tunisia aims to facilitate a truly international exchange of information and networking. The structure of the three-day seminar with two days dedicated to oral and poster presentations and one day dedicated to round table discussions and workshops will provide an excellent opportunity to achieve this.
