Germany: HPA Introduces Plan for Dradenau Land Reclamation

Hamburg Port Authority AöR has announced early information about the land reclamation and forming of area for new manufacturing logistics area – Dradenau.

This project includes filling of the intermediate silt bearing Dradenau harbour by installation of wet sand and balancing the mud surface (approx. 7,000m), by filling irrigator of sand (about 80,000m³) and flushing of sand (about 70,000m³) followed by lowering the water level (pumping around 900,000m³).

The anticipated start date of award procedure is September 24, 2012.
