Taylor Engineering Supports Intracoastal Waterway Dredging Project

On behalf of the Florida Inland Navigation District, Taylor Engineering will support a proposed project that would deepen the Intracoastal Waterway in vicinity of Ponce de Leon Inlet in Volusia County and deposit the dredged material within the constructed MSA 434 dredged material management area facility.

This project construction will result in approximately 216,000 cubic yards of sediment removal.

For nearly three decades, Taylor Engineering, Inc. has focused its attention on water-related issues and the effects of water resource activities on the environment.

As the engineering side of its operations grew, the company added environmental scientists and GIS professionals and analysts to provide clients with a suite of comprehensive services — from concept design through permitting to construction.

Today Taylor Engineering takes on projects — from beach nourishment to dredged material management, from flood insurance studies to environmental impact assessments — that cover the spectrum of water-related issues.
