Angola: Bright Future for Lobito Port

Bright Future for Lobito Port

The Angolan Executive is investing 120 million kwanzas in the programme of rehabilitating, expanding and modernizing the Lobito Port, in the central Benguela Province.

This was announced last Thursday in Lobito (Benguela Province) by the Transport minister Augusto da Silva Tomás, at the opening of the meeting of Transport ministers of the countries that are part of the Lobito Corridor Development (Angola, DRC and Zambia).

“This investment will give the Lobito Port major competitiveness, capacity, security and turn it into a more active agent in the internationalisation of Angolan firms and economy”, Augusto Tomás explained.
