USA: Global Terminal Expansion Project Underway (VIDEO)

In May 2012, Global Terminal in the Port of New York New Jersey unveiled plans for a multi-million dollar expansion project which, when complete in Q2 2014, will be the most technologically-advanced container facility in the U.S. Northeast.

This animation video showcases the new terminal’s innovative container handling equipment, yard layout, water and landside operations, along with a highly efficient truck gate configuration.
