Tiehuangsha Control Project Awarded (China)
On November 13, CCCC Tianjin Dredging Co., Ltd. won the bid for Lot V of Tiehuangsha control project of the Chengtonghe segment of the Yangtze River, with a contract value of 190 million yuan.
Located in the Chengtonghe segment of the Yangtze River, with a planned construction period of 550 days, the project spans across Zhangjiagang and Changshu cities of Jiangsu Province, and involves cofferdam filling, slope protection and bank protection, as well as construction of various dikes with a total length of 3,871 meters including Tiehuangsha dikes measuring 2,604 meters and temporary separation levees measuring 1,267 meters.
The project is of positive significance to strengthening the regulation, development and protection of the Yangtze River and promoting the sustainable development of the social and economic environment of the Yangtze River Basin.
