Monroe Harbor Dredging Plan Introduced

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District, has announced a plan for the Monroe Harbor maintenance dredging project in Michigan.

This cleanup program will involve removal of approximately 45,000 cubic yards of material which will be placed either hydraulically in the Sterling State Park Confined Disposal Facilities (CDF) or mechanically in the Pointe Mouillee CDF.

The tentative date for posting the solicitation for the contract is 15 January 2015, and the estimated value of the project is between $500,000 and $1 million.
