Business & Finance

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District, has introduced a plan for the Rouge River maintenance dredging project.

According to the plan, the dredged materials will be placed into Cell#3 and Cell#5 of Pointe Mouillee Confined Disposal Facility.

The project is estimated to cost between $1 million and $5 million.

The solicitation for this dredging scheme will be available later this month, and the contract award is expected in May 2015.

In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal Government, contractors must register their firms at the System for Award Management (SAM).
