McL&H Wraps Up Fraserburgh Project

McLaughlin & Harvey has just announced completion of the Fraserburgh North Harbor deepening works.

This £12 million worth project involved the deepening and strengthening of the existing North Harbor to accommodate increasing vessel sizes.

Fraserburgh Harbor deepening project included dredging of approximately 11,000m³ of rock down to -4.7m CD within the North Harbor Basin and approach channel; and construction of a rock armored revetment below a new suspended quay along the west side of the harbor.

The North Harbor deepening project, part funded by EFF and Marine Scotland, is the latest in a succession of projects which have been developed by the Fraserburgh Harbor Commissioners.
