TSHD Kronshlot Busy in Port of Kaliningrad

The dredging operations at the Port of Kaliningrad, conducted by the trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) Kronshlot, started in early March, FSUE Rosmorport said in its latest announcement.

During this maintenance dredging scheme, performed along the entire seaway canal of Kaliningrad – from point 222 to the double level bridge, around 350.000m³ of material will be removed from these areas.

The dredged material will be pumped ashore at point 339 of the Kaliningrad canal, Rosmorport said.

The TSHD Kronshlot, delivered to FSUE Rosmorport in September 2016, was designed by Damen Shipyards Gorinchem, built by Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard, with the working design documentation provided by the Volga-Caspian Design Bureau (MNP Group), Russia.
