Dover Western Docks Revival Latest Progress Update (VIDEO)

The Port of Dover last Friday released the latest video update from the Dover Western Docks Revival project.

The port awarded the £115m marine structures and bridge contract of this flagship development to VSBW, the joint venture between Boskalis Westminster and VolkerStevin.

The first stage includes the design and construction of two new berths including quay walls and land reclamation as well as a new marina pier, the marina curve, navigation channel and new lock gates, bascule bridge and capital dredging work.

The major phase of the construction program is scheduled to be completed at the end of 2018.
