The ceremony, which was held on 7 April 2021, included messages from LTG Scott A. Spellmon, 55th Chief of Engineers and Commanding General, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and other executives and leaders from organizations around the world.

The Atlas, Volume 2, showcases EWN principles and practices in action through illustrations and descriptions of 62 projects from around the world.

“These projects are delivering broad engineering, economic, environmental, and social value and demonstrate the potential and power of Engineering WITH Nature,” said LTG Scott A. Spellmon during the launch.

The Atlas was developed to communicate the diversity of projects, contexts, and organizations that are advancing worldwide progress in the field.

“The Atlas books are a great way to communicate about EWN, share ideas, stimulate innovation, and spark further progress,” commented Dr. Todd Bridges, national lead for the EWN Program.
