Barnstable County

Originally scheduled to start in early November, the project was delayed awaiting the approval of the permit required as well as due to the winds/seas that have prevented the mobilizing of the gear.

Mobilization of the equipment for the Parkers River Entrance Channel dredging project was completed in early December and dredging began late morning on Friday, December 2, 2022.

During the works, a total of 4,344 cubic yards was dredged from the Parker’s River approach and entrance channel. The dredge spoils were used to renourish Seagull Beach.
