Luhr Crosby wins Cairo, Illinois, dredging contract

Luhr Crosby of Columbia, Illinois, has won a $10 million US Army Corps contract for dredging work in Cairo.

Under the contract, Luhr Crosby will provide dredging of shoals found between Cairo, IL and Markland Lock and Dam along the navigation channel Ohio River miles 981–531, Upper Mississippi River Miles 0–120.

According to the contracting entity, the Army Corps Louisville District, deadline to complete the dredging work is Dec. 31, 2024.
