China: Officials Invest Big into Inland River Rebuiling and Preserving Projects

The Housing and Construction Office of Fuzhou reported that the rebuilding and preserving program for Fuzhou’s inland rivers cost over 1 billion yuan.

Inland river regulation of Fuzhou has finalized investment of 1.25 billion yuan ever since it started this year.

The extensive development of Baima river was increased to 73% of the total investment.

The 13 inland rivers such as Dongxi river finalized 19%.

The dredging project of Jinan river was finalized up to 80% and sewage interception project of inland river of Tainan up to 32%.
