Hillsborough Seeks Bids for Ben Johnston Lake Dredging (USA)

The Town of Hillsborough has invited bidders for the dredging and maintenance of Ben Johnston Lake’s dam and reservoir.

Bids are due before 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, and will be publicly opened and immediately read aloud after all bids are received and logged at 1 p.m. at the Town Barn, 101 E. Orange St. on the Town Hall campus.

The work consists of dredging the reservoir within 400 feet upstream of the dam and disposing the sediment in an onsite disposal area.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, in the Town Barn.
