Officials Introduce Brunswick Dredging Plan

Department of Homeland Security has introduced plan for the dredging on the Plantation Creek at U.S. Coast Guard Station Brunswick, GA.

This project is to furnish all labor, materials and equipment to dredge the boat basin and access channel at the mentioned area..

Dredge by hydraulic means to design depth of Elevation (-)10.0′ MLLW and transport the dredge sediment by submerged hydraulic pipeline to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (ACoE) Sediment Placement Facility on Andrews Island.

Contractor shall pay the disposal fee levied by ACoE. Estimated quantity of dredge material to be removed is 4,050 cubic yards. The performance period will be 90 calendar days. The estimated value of this procurement is between $250,000 and $500,000.
