USA: Taylor Engineering to Evaluate Feasibility of Lake Sperry Dredging

Taylor Engineering to Evaluate Feasibility of Lake Sperry Dredging.

Taylor Engineering has assembled a team of dredging experts to provide the City of Dunedin with a cost-effective means to compile pertinent field data and regulatory information to evaluate the feasibility of dredging Lake Sperry and portions of Cedar Creek.

The firm will provide professional engineering, biological, and environmental, geotechnical, and field survey services to evaluate the current conditions within Cedar Creek and Lake Sperry.

In addition, staff members will work with the City of Dunedin, local homeowner groups, and regulatory agencies to determine the constructability of Lake Sperry, the western portion of Cedar Creek, and the eastern portion of Cedar Creek. If the evaluation identifies a project area as constructible, Taylor Engineering will meet with the responsible regulatory agencies to determine the permitability of those project areas.

The preliminary and final reports will document the merits, costs, and likely maintenance dredging frequency for each water body.
