Poland: Officials Seek Bids for Port of Gdynia Reconstruction

Zarzad Morskiego Portu Gdynia S.A. has announced tender for the reconstruction of the Port of Gdynia on the western part of the quay to make it possible to berth a Panamax vessel measuring 245m x 34.5 m x 12.7 m and 63000D WT.W.

The project includes:

– Reconstruction of hydraulic engineering constructions for mooring lines;

– Dredging works along reconstructed section of the quay;

– Strengthening the bottom of the underwater slopes.

The total value of the project is 97,839,251 PLN, and the deadline for this tender is February 8, 2013.
