Australia: Tuncurry Channel Dredging to Improve Navigation
This week marks the beginning of dredging work in the Tuncurry Channel, near the entrance to Wallis Lake.
The state government has chipped in $27,000 towards the project, which will help improve navigation for recreational and commercial boaters.
5,000 cubic metres of sediment will be removed from the channel over the coming week.
