DHI Indonesia to Conduct Training Course on Dredging

DHI Indonesia will be conducting a training course on ‘Environmental Aspects of Dredging and Reclamation’ on 1-2 October 2013, through the global training and knowledge sharing initiative, the ACADEMY.

This particular training course will be held at Grand Sahid Jaya, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jakarta from 9 am – 5 pm.

“We invite you to participate in this training course to reap the benefits of an extensive training program being conducted by our experts. This training course will provide professionals involved in the planning, management and monitoring of dredging and reclamation projects with background knowledge of physical and chemical processes affected by dredging and reclamation, the potential environmental impacts of these activities and the understanding of the available tools and procedures that can help to sustainably manage these projects,” the officials announced.

The training course will include description of case studies of relevant DHI projects in the region to demonstrate the practical application of the concepts introduced during the training modules.
