- Business & Finance
Coalview Ltd. LLC, has purchased a 200 tons per hour (TPH) all-electric coal dredger from Rohr-Idreco Dredge Systems as the primary dredging unit for its newest fine coal recovery project near Centralia, Washington.
The dredger comes with a specially designed jet suction head and delivers material from the impoundment to the fine coal recovery system by a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipeline.
“The dredging system was designed specifically for our fine coal recovery plant at Centralia and will give us the lowest unit cost,” said David Henry, President of Coalview Recovery Group. “The dredger is scheduled to arrive at the Centralia site in June.”
“We took an important step forward by acquiring the highly automated and high-tech dredge system,” said Roger Fish, Coalview’s CEO. “We are speeding up our hiring process in preparation for the full plant operation in Q4.”
