Port Development Week in September
Following the success of its 3rd Marine and Coastal Engineering Summit that took place last year in Doha, IQPC is organizing the Port Development Week which will take place from 6-9 September 2015, again in Doha.
This event will serve as an interactive platform for all project stakeholders and will feature high-level strategic discussions and share peer-led case studies addressing the biggest challenges, opportunities and requirements in delivering and operating world-class ports in the region.
Ports are highly sensitive areas, with large and complex flows of people and goods, calling for effective security measures.
With such complex mega-projects underway in the region it is crucial to ensure the security aspects of these ports are implemented within budget and with conflicting deadlines. In light of such mega investment projects it must be noted that Middle East as the hub on all sea trade activities and with each port requiring tailor made security systems to suit specific needs and challenges.
