CCCC Visits Port of Yuzhny

An official delegation of Chinese dredging company ‘China Communications Construction Company Limited’ (CCCC) visited the Port of Yuzhny on November 14, the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) reports.

According to the Authority’s announcement, the main purpose of the visit was the development of business alliance related to the Port of Yuzhny dredging works and potential participation in other port development projects.

During the meeting, the guests were informed about the current and future dredging programs.

The latest round of maintenance dredging operations in the waters of the Port of Yuzhny was completed recently with the removal of 461.000m³ of material, USPA said.

This project significantly improved navigation conditions in the seaport, bringing water depths in berths No. 7, 8, 9, 16, 17 and 39 to the desired level of 21 meters.
