DTC: Rules of the Game Will Change Because of Climate Change

Our first Dredging Today Conference took place in October at Amsterdam RAI Convention Center under the theme ‘Changing Climate, Resilient Business’.

The two-day event gathered expert speakers and panelists to discuss how the world in which the dredging industry operates is changing.

Talking about dredging for hydropower, Jan Peters, Managing Director, Alia Instruments & Imotec, made some very interesting points about dam related solutions for sediment problem and restoring of reservoirs capacity by sustainable dredging.

In this video, Mr. Peters explains why with the next generation of non-nuclear equipment, the benefits of production monitoring are now attainable for any company regardless of type of vessel, personnel, or existing on-board technology.
