Honolulu to Host WEDA Pacific Chapter Fall 2018 Conference

The Pacific Chapter Western Dredging Association Fall 2018 conference will take place in Waikiki, Honolulu, from Tuesday, October 23, through Thursday, October 25, reports WEDA.

For the 2018 conference, the Pacific Chapter Board has adjusted typical conference days to provide a bonus half day of time slots for presentations, announced the organizers.

 

 

Projected Agenda Summary:

  • Tuesday sessions will include the Corps/Industry Meeting from 1-3 PM, Ports Meeting 1 3 PM, 2017/18 Federal Dredging Program presentation from 3 5 PM, Hosted Ice Breaker Luau 6-9 PM;
  • Wednesday agenda will consist of technical presentations and a luncheon program. A tour unique to the culture and industry of Honolulu will follow the luncheon;
  • Thursday will continue with technical presentations throughout the day and conclude with chapter business in the early evening. This conference has an additional half day of presentations for attendees to have the chance to share talks.

The Pacific Chapter of WEDA represents the West Coast of the United States including Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Hawaii and Alaska, Guam, American Samoa, and Western Canada.
