In Louisiana, DWH Natural Resource Damage Assessment Trustees EPA and the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority are partnering on the Golden Triangle Marsh Creation Project.

The Golden Triangle is a wetland area close to New Orleans, where brackish marsh vegetation is crucial in buffering storm surge and acting as natural protection for coastal communities.
