The Karnaphuli River is the largest and most important river and major watercourse of the Chattogram region in Bangladesh.
The waterway is extensively used for transporting cotton and forest products and keeping the river maintained for navigation is a top Government priority.

According to Rashed Alam, Deep Diggers Director, the Sharks have been operating 22 hours per day with outstanding results.
