The Vox Amalia features two suction drag arms and currently sails around the world to perform the most complex of dredging contracts.

“Because of her large capacity of 18,900 cubic meters, and dredging depth of up to 61 meters, this proudly Dutch designed vessel is a dredging force to be reckoned with,” said C-Job.

The dredger has a length of 158 metres and a width of 36 metres.

This impressive vessel is part of Van Oord’s new generation of trailing suction hopper dredgers with a focus on energy efficiency for the smallest possible carbon footprint.
