At the meeting, Rabie expressed appreciation for the extensive cooperation between SCA and Royal IHC, which aims to modernize the SCA’s dredging fleet by using the latest cutting-edge technology.

This cooperation already resulted in the construction of the two largest dredgers in the Middle East – the Mohab Mamish and the Hussein Tantawi.

The Chairman also highlighted the implementation of an ambitious business strategy focused on enhancing the navigational services offered by the canal.

This strategy revolves around four key aspects:

  • enhancing the canal’s navigational path,
  • improving the maritime fleet,
  • optimizing asset utilization, and
  • embracing digital transformation.
