Commencing this week and continuing for approximately 48 days, maintenance dredging operations will take place in the approaches and deepwater berths of the inner harbour of Warrenpoint Port.

Dredging will be undertaken by the trailing suction hopper dredger Charlock which will transport dredged material to the WARRENPOINT B licenced sea disposal site.

The Charlock will be supported by the workboat vessel Forth Trojan which will undertake bed levelling operations.

Bed levelling may extend beyond the date for completion of dredging operations and may also be required in the Greenore channel.
