Turkmenistan’s shipbuilding industry established a series of partnerships during last month’s working visit by a delegation from the Balkan Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant to the Netherlands.

Meetings were held with Dutch dredger manufacturers, including Dredge Yard B.V., De Klop B.V., Dredging Service Europe, and Royal IHC.

According to the Agency, the parties agreed to develop technical proposals, exchange experience in the field of dredger design and construction, as well as organize trainings for Turkmen specialists.

Also, representatives of the companies expressed interest in participating in the dredging operations in the Caspian Sea, as well as in the inland waters of Turkmenistan.
